Scholarship Recipients

the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame awards up to

attending Oregon colleges. These worthy
scholarship recipients are routinely
straight-A students with multiple All-League
and All-State designations and other
leadership attributes. Typically they go on
to successful careers in education,
engineering, business and other pursuits.
There are
downloadable, printable forms that will give you more eligibility
information and requirements.
Applications are due April 30, 2012.
The Joy of Sport Program
The Oregon Sports Hall of Fame and Museum
launched the Joy of Sport Program during the
1999-2000 school year and qualifying schools
and programs have enthusiastically received
the program. Many schools have limited
budgets for activities outside of the
classroom and this is especially true for
schools serving low-income families.
Hundreds of children who might not otherwise
be able to visit the hall of Fame have been
able to come due to the generosity of
corporate and individual donors.
If you are interested in learning more
about the Joy of Sport Program and how you
can sponsor a school or youth group, please

things the Kids can enjoy by viewing our Youth page.
