Millard Rosenblatt (Jun. 30, 1901 – Mar. 1, 2000) began playing golf when he was twelve years old at the newly-opened Tualatin Country Club. That began a lifetime love of the game that included many amateur tournament victories and leadership roles.

Rosenblatt placed second in the 1917 and 1919 Oregon State Amateur Tournaments. In 1916, he won the first of his twelve Tualatin club championships.

His collegiate career began at Reed College, then continued at Stanford University. Millard captained the golf team (1921-22), twice defeating the California State Amateur Champion. After graduating from Stanford, he earned his medical degree at Harvard and returned to Portland to practice medicine...and more golf.

Between 1917 and 1979, Dr. Rosenblatt won five Oregon Senior Championships and was runner-up five times; qualified and played in six U.S.G.A National Senior Tournaments; qualified for the Oregon State Amateur Championship Flight eighteen times; won the Senior Division of the Royal Oaks Invitational in 1956; and won the Oregon Coast over-32 championship four times (1934-35, 1952-53).

His final club championship at Tualatin CC was in 1979, ending a 44-year gap between his previous title. That is considered to be a world record (although NOT according to Guiness!).

Rosenblatt served important leadership roles as well, he served as President for the Tualatin Country Club and was chairman of the greens committee for 25 years.  He was instrumental in keeping the Club afloat financially in lean years. He did the same with the Oregon Golf Association where he served as chief officer from 1938 through World War II, and as president beginning in 1948. Once again, he helped revive the sport in the state as no major tournaments were held during the war.  Millard also served in leadership with the Oregon Senior Golf Association as he continued to play the game.
